Le
CFA, c’est quoi ?
Délivré par le CFA Institute, le CFA (acronyme
de Chartered Financial Analyst ) est un diplôme de
référence attestant de la maîtrise de
concepts financiers.
Destiné aux professionnels des marchés financiers
(analystes, gestionnaires d’actifs, etc.), cette certification
profesionnelle d’expertise financière est internationalement
reconnue. Aujourd’hui, les diplômés («
charterholders ») ne sont plus uniquement nord américains
mais également Asiatiques ou Européens.
Le
CFA Institute est une association professionnelle américaine
d’analystes dont l’objectif est de gérer
sa Charte d’analyse financière ainsi que
son programme.
Le programme se concentre sur la gestion de portefeuille
et l'analyse financière, et fournit une connaissance
généraliste des autres domaines de la
finance
Le
CFA est décomposé en 3 examens correspondant
chacun à un Niveau dont la difficulté
est croissante. Ces 3 Niveaux sont à passer dans
un délai maximum de 7 années avec la contrainte
de ne pas pouvoir passer plusieurs Niveaux la même
année.
L'examen
du CFA, à quoi çà sert ?
La certification délivrée par le CFA permet
avant tout de bénéficier une crédibilité
internationale aux professionnels de la Finance en particulier
en terme de recrutement. Ces 60 années d’existence,
le nombre de candidats annuel et sa dimension internationale
en attestent.
En tant que diplôme particulièrement sélectif
et adapté aux métiers de marchés,
il s’agit d’un vrai plus qui peut faire toute
la différence quand son CV mentionne la réussite
à l’examen en particulier dans les pays anglo
saxons.
